Unfortunately, the hotel shelter will not be open this summer season 2026. Thank you to everyone who came to see us over the past 3 years. If you are doing the GR56, you can stay at Cédric and Stéphanie's guesthouse. If you are passing by on the road, do not hesitate to stop at the Auberge du Bachelard.

Bayasse Mountain Lodge has 7 comfortable rooms, with private bathroom and toilets, made beds, towels provided, and wifi. They can accommodate from 1 to 4 people and are all adapted for disabled guests. Enjoy the experience of an authentic place to stay in the middle of nature, with all the comfort of a hotel!

Groups and individuals The lodge in summer
Baysse Mountain Lodge welcomes individuals and groups from May to October. You can enjoy half or full board meals and the refuge's beautiful terrace, ideal for a break after a nice walk or bike ride. Non-resident sportsmen and nature lovers can also enjoy a gourmet break on the terrace. The lodge is accessible by car and has a car park.

Mercantour Park Activities
Bayasse Mountain Lodge is ideally located at the gateway to the heart of the Mercantour National Park, 20 km from Barcelonnette. Bayasse is an essential stop on the GR of the ubaye tour, but also on the "Grande Traversée du Mercantour" trek and on the "Route des Grandes Alpes", at the foot of the Cayolle Pass. In winter, snowshoeing and ski touring enthusiasts will appreciate the many trails at the foot of the lodge.
